Confusion begets inspiration. When people are troubled, facing things in life they cannot understand, they seek the wisdom of a higher knowledge. Since time immemorial, the human community has ascribed messages of comfort and salvation to angels.
Over a period of 10 years, Al Rendon has photographed a series of angels – ordinary women wearing crafted wings accompanied by an appropriate lyrical message. It’s a spiritual exercise that involves a collaboration between Al Rendon, writer gary s. whitford, artists and subjects. Props and environment are formed to express the theme. The result is a collection of images that carry wisdom to uplift times of tragedy and celebrate times of great joy. The Angel Collection is available as a set of 10 Archival Digital Prints 5.5 x 8.5 inches packaged in a suitable box for $100. Single cards are available for $15 each.
